From living room to luxury kitchen
A complete transformation
It's hard to believe this is the same room. What was once a traditional living space has been
completely reimagined as a spacious, sociable kitchen, while retaining the original exposed timber
beams that give the property so much character. The new layout places a generous island at the
heart of the room, creating a beautiful space for cooking, dining and everyday family life.
BEFORE
aFTER
A traditional home with a contemporary feel
tHE BRIEF
The character of this Honiton property provided the perfect setting for a classic painted Shaker kitchen. Stori Wakefield cabinetry was chosen in a combination of soft Sage Green and Cardamom, creating a calm, understated palette that works beautifully alongside the exposed timber beams and natural stone flooring.

THE DETAIL
The substantial central island forms the focal point of the room, providing valuable preparation and storage space while also creating an informal seating area. The 30mm Oyster Quartz Imperial White worktop softens the overall appearance, while warm brass handles and timber features bring character and warmth.
